Responding to mid-century liberal Protestant theology, this work develops a a theology which supports that need. Working from the experience of Black Christians, Cone asserts that God’s call is always delivers the oppressed. And goes from there. Necessary reading for anyone who cares about Christianity and racism in the twenty-first century.
